TOURNAMENT RULES

 1. You may fish alone or with a partner, however the entry fee remains the same

 2. All fish must be caught in a sporting fashion, live and artificial bait will be allowed

 3. Two lines per competitor will be allowed

 4. Boats must have a working kill switch and will be inspected prior to start of tournament

 5. Boats must have a live-well   

 6. There must be enough PFD's for every person on the boat and they must be worn when motor is on,

     participants must observe safe boat conduct.

 7. You must have an Indiana Fishing License

 8. A Five (5) fish limit is imposed per boat - can be (5) Walleye, or (5) Bass, or a Combination

 9. If you are late returning for weigh-in you will be penalized - 1/2lb the first minute and 1lb a minute

    for every additional minute up to 5 minutes - then you are disqualified

 10. This is a live release tournament.  Every participant should do what they can to insure the well being

      of their catch

 11. Total accumulated weight in pounds, less non-releasable penalty (1/4 lb per dead fish) will determine the

       final tournament standings, and big fish awards

 12. One team member must accompany the catch to the scale.  Each team must initial the official weigh-in slip

      and will receive a copy for their records

 13. Team presenting undersized fish will forfeit total weight

 14. All awards will be made following tournament weigh-in

 15. No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed

Take Off positions will be determined by receipt of registration fee.  Registration at ramp will begin at 5:00AM.  There will be a Captains meeting prior to the start of the tournament. Take-off promptly at 7AM, so make sure you are registered and in the water no later than 6:45AM.

PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT:

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I acknowledge that I am VOLUNTARILY participating in this event.  I am aware that my participation in the tournament listed on the entry form  creates the risk of serious personal injury or death. My participation could also lead to loss or damage to personal property which may result from my participation in the tournament.  In exchange for being permitted to participate in the Tournament, I hereby RELEASE AND DISCHARGE the  Tournament and the tournament sponsors, their officers, director’s agents, employees and legal representatives from the liabilities or injuries, damages or other loss sustained by me.   I realize that loss of property, injury or death could arise from (1) the fishing and boating activities contemplated by the tournament, (2) the fact that the risks normally encountered in open-water fishing from a boat may be enhanced by the existence of competition.
