July Outing

Winona lake was the site of our summer outing held along with Indiana Fishing & Hotspots, and Michiana Walleye Association members. 24 anglers showed up for a fun weekend. Even though fishing was slow, there was plenty of conversation and a great fish fry on Saturday afternoon. We caught some blue gills, a few crappie, 7 lb northern, 2 - 3lb and 2 - 5lb walleye and a couple keepers. My partner hooked a 35lb carp on 6lb test, and it took both of us to land it, because he recently had shoulder surgery.
