Priority registration for the 2004 Wal-Mart RCL Walleye
Tour earmarked for anglers who own Ranger, Crestliner or Lund boats will
begin Jan. 12 at 8 a.m. Central time. For all other entries, deposits will
be accepted beginning Jan. 15 at 8 a.m. Central time.
Anglers can register online or by calling FLW Outdoors headquarters at
(270) 252-1000.
Tournament entry fees are unchanged for 2004 and will be $1,250 for the
Pro Division and $500 for the Co-angler Division for regular-season
tournaments. Entry fees for the championship remain at $1,500 for pros and
$750 for co-anglers.
Specific registration rules regarding the 2004 RCL Walleye Tour are as
follows:
* Participation is open only to members of FLW Outdoors who are 16 years
of age or older. Any person entering a tournament under the age of
majority must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in
the provided space on the entry form. All contestants must have in their
possession a valid fishing license.
* Qualifying Events Pro angler participation is open only to registered
Ranger, Crestliner and Lund owners. Co-angler participation is open to the
general public. It will be the responsibility of anglers to submit their
application and deposits in accordance with the procedures outlined below.
* Anglers entering with a counterpart and providing the membership number
of the counterpart (pro with a co-angler, or co-angler with a pro) will be
given priority; anglers entering all four events with a counterpart and
providing the membership number of the counterpart will be given top
priority. All others will be confirmed in order of entry.
* Pros may submit a $500 deposit for each event to hold their spots.
Co-anglers may submit a $200 deposit for each event to hold their spots.
* For anglers that are Ranger, Crestliner or Lund owners, nontransferable,
nonrefundable deposits will be accepted to hold spots for tournaments
beginning 8 a.m. Central time, January 12, 2004.
* For other entries, nontransferable, nonrefundable deposits will be
accepted to hold spots for tournaments beginning 8 a.m. Central time,
January 15, 2004.
* Deposits may be made by mail, phone, fax or online at FLWOutdoors.com.
Entry fees (minus the deposit amount) may be transferred or refunded if
FLW Outdoors is notified prior to the entry deadline. Entry fees will not
be transferred or refunded after the entry deadline. Deposits may not be
transferred or refunded at any time.
* Those placed on the waiting list that are not accepted into the
tournament will receive a full refund after the tournament.
* Confirmed entries are contingent upon balance being paid by the balance
deadline date.
* From the RCL Walleye Tour, the top 120 pros and the top 120 co-anglers
from the year-end points standings will qualify for the RCL Championship.
